Domestic Carmakers Turn Up the Volume on Competitive Lease Offers

Wantalease.com, the nation’s first online car lease marketplace for new car lease deals, reports domestic auto leases are seeing the largest price drops during September. Seven of the top ten popular lease vehicles with the biggest price drops in September are from Chevrolet, Chrysler, Ford and Buick, with prices discounted as much as 46% from the previous month.
Wantalease.com is the nation’s first online destination for new car lease deals, and it is a sister marketplace to Swapalease.com where drivers can transfer in and out of leases currently under contract.
The Chevrolet Double Cab LT pickup saw the largest discounted price in September compared with August, falling 45.9%. The current lease deal is offered at $199.00 monthly, compared with $368.14 the previous month. The Chevrolet Equinox 2WD LS has a lease deal offered at $168.00 monthly, compared with $305.21 the previous month (a -44.9% discount). Both are being offered with $0 cash down.
Fifteen popular lease vehicles have deals currently offered at $199.00 or less in September, and Twenty-two deals are offered under $249.00.
The Ford Explorer FWD is listed among today’s most popular vehicles with September lease deals higher than the previous month. The Explorer is currently offered at $430.63, a +19.0% increase over what it was being offered in August. The Honda Accord LX also saw an increase in its current lease deal of $278.42 monthly, rising +9.4% compared with August.
